The Sparkle framework has allowed Cocoa developers to add self-updating functionality to their apps for some time.
These modifications allow Carbon developers to also enjoy all the functionality Sparkle has to offer. A single initialization function enables the standard package.
The posted archive includes the Carbon Documentation, a universal binary of the modified Sparkle.framework, an example project, and the complete source code.
NOTE: The older versions of Carbon Sparkle are known to FAIL starting in Mac OS X 10.5.6. If your users have already installed 10.5.6 and have an older version of the framework, they will not be able to download and install via Sparkle. Also, this new framework requires some extra security so please check out the Sparkle Documentation URL included in the package.
